Angular Sundae Quilt Block
Quilt block pattern — one block to piece, not a finished quilt.

Angular Sundae is a pictorial quilt block showing an ice-cream cone in crisp, geometric facets. It is built mainly from half-square triangles, with rectangles and a square completing the background and details.

Notes
Make and trim the half-square triangle units first, then lay out the complete design before joining it in sections or rows. Keep a close watch on triangle orientation, particularly around the cone and scoops, and pin where diagonal seams meet so the points remain clear.
Make it your own
Draw the Angular Sundae quilt block in the Quiltler studio — free in your browser, or on iPhone and iPad — to recolour it, swap in your own fabrics, resize it and lay it out into a whole quilt. This page is the block itself, not a finished quilt layout. When it looks the way you want, download the full quilt template of your version, with the fabric list and cutting sizes worked out for you.
