How it's made

Hi there! Let's sew a sweet little white church today, steeple and all.

A little white church, its steeple pointing up toward heaven, is a picture of Sunday morning.

Let's start with the cross. Sew two little sky and gold columns either side of a gold strip.

Sky corners point the spire, and little white corners arch the window and the door.

Stack the window and door with white between, then add white strips down the sides.

Arch two gold windows the same way, with white above and below.

Sew the windows between white strips, then slant the end of the red roof with a sky corner.

Frame the cross in sky and sew it on top of the spire and tower. There's our steeple!

Add sky around the nave, sew the steeple beside it, and finish with green grass.

Nine little churches make a sweet Sunday quilt.
