About this pattern
This square throw quilt arranges dark indigo, sage, dusty blue, cream and terracotta in interlocking chevrons and diamond shapes. The small-scale prints and gingham centre give the design a traditional barn-quilt feel, while the repeating diagonal bands create a clear, graphic rhythm. Finished size: 48" × 48".
You will piece the design from 112 half-square-triangle pieces in nine fabrics, using a ¼" seam allowance. The repeated 6" blocks keep the construction orderly, but accurate trimming and careful alignment will help the diagonal bands meet cleanly. It suits a confident quilter comfortable sewing and matching triangles.
