About this pattern

This 72" × 72" quilt uses a 12 by 12 grid of half-square triangles to create interlocking mint-green diamond frames, cream centres and small coral and dark-red corner accents. The repeated diagonal shapes give the design a measured, graphic rhythm with a soft, muted palette.

You will cut 288 pieces and sew 144 finished 6" blocks, all made from half-square triangles, with a ¼" seam allowance. The layout relies on accurate triangle units and careful placement to keep the diamond chains clear, making it suited to a confident quilter.
