About this pattern
This lunar-themed quilt arranges moon phases in a measured grid, with pale crescents and full moons set against a deep, starry-looking background. The repeating blocks create a calm night-sky rhythm across the 60" by 72" finished quilt.
You will work with six moon and half-moon shapes across 120 pieces to cut, using three fabrics and a ¼" seam allowance. The curved motifs need accurate cutting, steady piecing and careful alignment to keep the circular forms smooth. It suits an experienced quilter who is comfortable sewing curves and repeating shaped blocks.
