About this pattern
Indigo Weave is a basket-weave throw in indigo and pale ground, rotated so neighbouring blocks lock into a continuous twill. Finished size is 71 × 83 inches. The warp is the pale, the weft is the indigo; keep those two values distinct and the woven rhythm reads from across the room. Each block is eight rectangles. Cut strips, join them into pairs, then rotate every other block 90 degrees as you set the 5 × 6 grid so the rails continue rather than stop at the seam. Press toward the indigo so the pale stays proud. A loom-blue inner border and an ink-navy outer border hold the repeat and give the utility edge this pattern wants. It suits a beginner who can sew a straight seam and wants a heritage look without fussy points. The download is a full pattern pack with cutting charts, yardage, assembly diagrams and a printable PDF.
