About this pattern

Ink Diamonds is a square-in-a-square lap in ink navy on pale ground, set 10 × 13 so the diamonds meet edge to edge. Finished size is 59 × 74 inches. The centre square is the dark value; the four corner triangles are the pale, which is what turns each 5-inch unit into a diamond on point. Cut the centres as squares, add the corner triangles, and trim. Keep the navy the same across the field so the value placement stays even. A mist inner border and an ink-navy outer border square the quilt and echo the two-colour repeat. Press the corner triangles toward the pale so the diamonds sit flat. The piecing is beginner work: no Y-seams, no curves, only accurate squares. It suits anyone who wants a heritage indigo quilt with a clear construction sequence. The download is a full pattern pack: cutting charts, yardage, assembly diagrams and a printable PDF you keep.
