Designs sit in a harvest palette of pumpkin, goldenrod, cinnamon bark and the last green on the leaf. Pictorial blocks do the talking: leaves, baskets, a schoolhouse, a house on a hill, pieced in solids so the silhouette stays clear at thumbnail size. The same colours return on every quilt, shuffled rather than expanded, so the shop reads as one orchard. Backgrounds are dried corn husk. Sizes are throws and laps for the sofa, with the odd bed quilt as the nights lengthen.
