About this pattern
Ink Frames is a queen-size Framed Square quilt, fifteen blocks wide by eighteen high, each unit finishing at six inches. Finished size is 102 × 120 inches. Ink navy forms the frame; pale ground fills the centre. Cut both into two-inch squares. Assemble each block as a nine-patch with the pale square in the middle and eight navy squares around it. Press each nine-patch toward the frame. Join the blocks in rows without strips between them; neighbouring frames share a seam and the pale centres hold a two-inch grid across the field. A two-inch indigo inner border and a four-inch ink-navy outer border close the quilt; the outer border matches the frame value so the bound edge stays dark. Straight seams only; watch that the nine-patch stays square as you sew the rows. It suits a maker who wants a utility bed cover with a narrow indigo plan and a repeat that reads from across the room. Buyers get a printable pattern pack: fabric yardage for the two solids and both borders, a cutting chart for the two-inch squares, the nine-patch piecing order, and the fifteen-by-eighteen layout.
