What Quiltler is
Quiltler is quilt design software. You design blocks and full quilt layouts on a visual canvas, fill them with your own fabrics, and the software calculates exactly how much fabric you need and how to cut it — then exports a print-ready PDF. Every design is built from real geometry, so the fabric numbers reflect the quilt you actually drew, not a rough estimate. Quiltler also runs a marketplace where independent designers sell quilt patterns; unlike a flat PDF, a Quiltler pattern opens in the studio so buyers can recolor it, swap in their own fabrics, resize it and get fresh calculations.
Platforms
Quiltler is available:
- On desktop — a full online quilt designer that runs in any modern browser, no download required. This is the main studio.
- On iPhone and iPad — a companion app with touch and Apple Pencil support (requires iOS/iPadOS 18.5 or later).
- On Mac (Apple Silicon) and Apple Vision Pro — the same companion app, on the bigger screens.
Designs, fabrics and custom cuts sync across every platform, so you can start on the desktop and finish on your iPad.

A short history
Quiltler began as an iOS quilt design app and grew with its community through a second generation. Today's Quiltler is a desktop design studio with a mobile companion: a rebuilt design engine, a browser-based studio that brings quilt design to any computer, an editable pattern marketplace, and automatic fabric calculations across the whole platform. The goal throughout has stayed the same — make it easy to go from idea to a buildable, well-calculated quilt.
Who makes Quiltler
Quiltler is made by Creative Greenlight, a small independent studio. It's built and supported directly by its maker, which is why the fastest way to reach a real person is simply to email us.
