Plan a quilt as a project

A project is your plan for sewing a real quilt: what it's for, the design, the fabric you've set aside and a checklist. Link a design and it shows whether your stash has enough.

Where to find it

My Library → Projects → New project

Open your projects
On the Projects page, New project opens a fresh plan; it is named Library – Autumn Throw and set to Planned, the Library – Harvest Throw design is linked and Do I have enough? appears, and + Batting and + Binding go on the checklist

How to do it

  1. Open My Library → Projects and press New project.
  2. Type its name at the top and set Status: Idea, Planned, In progress or Finished. Note What it's for if you like.
  3. Under Design, pick one of your quilts. Do I have enough? appears, comparing it with your stash.
  4. Under Fabric in this project, add fabrics from your library with Add a fabric….
  5. Add to the Checklist with + Batting, + Binding, + Backing, + Thread or your own to-do, and tick things off as you go.
