Install the studio and design with no connection

Install Quiltler Studio like an app from the studio home. With no connection the designer keeps working: saves wait on this device and go up to your account when you’re back online.

Install the studio
A Sawtooth Stars quilt open in the designer; the connection drops and a notice reads Offline. Your designs are kept on this device until you're back online; the quilt is recolored in Autumn and saved, Kept on this device, then the connection returns and the save syncs to All changes saved

How to do it

  1. Open Home. In Chrome or Edge, the card Keep designing with no connection has an Install button: press it, then confirm in the browser’s box.
  2. In Safari on an iPad, tap Share, then Add to Home Screen. On a Mac, choose File → Add to Dock.
  3. When the connection drops, a notice says Offline. Keep designing and press Save: it says Kept on this device.
  4. Once you’re back online, the save goes up to your account and shows All changes saved.

Good to know

  • Before you travel, sign in and open the quilts you’ll want while you’re still online. The studio keeps what it has already loaded.
