Color in a block photo to make a fabric on iPhone and iPad
Color In a Fabric, the Pattern Painter, fills each piece of a quilt or block photo with the color you tap, then saves the picture as a new fabric for your quilts.
How to do it
- In Studio, open Fabrics, tap + and choose Color In a Fabric.
- Tap Choose Photo, Take Photo or Choose from My Fabrics. A picture with clear outlines works best.
- Pick a color, then tap each piece of the picture to fill it. The colors you use gather under Your Colors.
- If a fill spills past a seam or stops short, tap Undo and move How Far the Color Spreads toward Less or More.
- Tap Next to save it as a new fabric.
Good to know
- Clear starts the picture again from the photo.
- Who can use it
