Make a shortlist of blocks, fabrics or shapes

A shortlist is a named set of blocks, fabrics or shapes from your library. Choose it in the designer's Shortlist menu and the right panel offers just those.

Where to find it

My Library → Fabrics → Shortlists

Open your shortlists
On the Fabrics page, the Shortlists tab is opened and Block chosen; the new shortlist is named Library – Favorite blocks, three blocks are ticked, and Save 3 items lists it with their pictures

How to do it

  1. Open My Library → Fabrics and press the Shortlists tab.
  2. Pick Fabric, Shape or Block for the kind of shortlist.
  3. Type a Name and tick the items to put in it.
  4. Press Save (it shows how many items). The shortlist is listed below with their pictures.
  5. In the designer, open Shortlist at the bottom of the right panel and pick it under Mix and match.

Good to know

  • A shortlist points at your items rather than copying them, so renaming a fabric changes it everywhere.
  • For colors, fabrics and shapes together for one quilt, make a bundle instead.
