Make a short video of your quilt for social media

Turn your quilt into a short video for Instagram, TikTok, YouTube Shorts or Pinterest. Pick where you’re posting and a style, and the blocks animate into place.

Designer → More → Share & social content → Make video

Open your quilts
In the designer, More, Share & social content, Make video opens the share video studio with a preview of the quilt's blocks animating in; Square post and the Bloom style are chosen, and Create video makes the video, ready to download or share

How to do it

  1. In the designer, press More, point to Share & social content and choose Make video. A preview starts playing.
  2. Under Where are you posting?, pick the shape: Reel / Short / TikTok, Story, Square post, Portrait post, Landscape or Pinterest.
  3. Choose a Style: Piecing drops blocks in row by row, Cascade sweeps from a corner, Bloom opens from the center. Set the Length.
  4. Press Create video. When it says Ready, press Download, or Share to send it straight to an app.
  5. Copy caption copies a caption with hashtags to paste into your post.

Good to know

  • Six to ten seconds holds attention best on Reels and Shorts.
  • The video is made in your browser. Subscribers can turn off the Quiltler watermark.
