Color & fabric

Organize your fabric stash into catalogs

In My Library → Fabrics, tick fabrics and file them into a catalog, filter by color, browse them as a wall, and archive the ones you’ve used up.

Where to find it

My Library → Fabrics.

Open your fabrics
In My Library → Fabrics, three autumn prints are ticked, Add to catalog → New catalog… files them in a new catalog, and clicking the catalog in the list shows just those three

How to do it

  1. Go to My Library → Fabrics. Tick the box on a fabric’s corner, or press Select to tick every fabric shown.
  2. In the bar that opens, choose Add to catalog and pick a catalog, or New catalog… to name a new one. + New catalog in the list on the left makes one too.
  3. Click a catalog in that list to see only its fabrics. All fabrics shows everything again.
  4. Press Filters to narrow by Color, like Reds or Neutrals, and Wall to browse them as a drifting wall.
  5. To clear out fabric you’ve used up, tick it and press Archive. It moves to Archived, and quilts that use it keep it.

Good to know

  • Shift-click a box to tick every fabric between it and the last one you ticked.
  • A catalog can be your whole fabric pull for a quilt: load it in the designer with Shortlist → Design from a catalog.
