Report a pattern you think is stolen

If a listing copies your pattern, or one you know, Report this pattern as stolen sends it to Quiltler. A first report takes the listing off sale for 24 hours while it’s reviewed.

Where to find it

A pattern’s page → Report this pattern as stolen; Market → How we keep this market honest

How reporting works
Under a pattern's license, Report this pattern as stolen opens a form; the address where the copy is sold and the address of the original are typed in, Just this pattern stays chosen, and the pointer rests on Send report

How to do it

  1. Sign in, open the pattern’s page and press Report this pattern as stolen, under its license.
  2. Under Where is this being sold?, add the address of the copy. Under Where do you sell the original?, add yours, one per line.
  3. Choose Just this pattern or This seller’s whole shop, add anything else we should know, and press Send report.
  4. You’re told the report is being reviewed, and you get a notification when it’s decided.

Good to know

  • How we keep this market honest, at the top of the market, explains the rest: AI pictures are labeled, only buyers can review or post photos, and a pattern you bought can’t be sold on.
  • For anything else wrong with a listing, use Report this listing at the foot of its page.
