Buying patterns & fabric

Try a pattern in your own colors before you buy

Try it in your fabrics recolors a pattern drafted in Quiltler right on its page, and the yardage changes with it. Nothing is saved, and nothing changes the pattern you buy.

Where to find it

Market → a pattern marked Designed in Quiltler → Try it in your fabrics

Open the market
On a pattern's page, Try it in your fabrics opens the quilt beside its colors; the Autumn colorway recolors every piece, then Coastal, and the yardage under What it takes to make changes with them

How to do it

  1. Open a pattern marked Designed in Quiltler and press Try it in your fabrics.
  2. Pick a colorway under Colors, such as Autumn, Coastal or Scrappy brights. The whole quilt changes.
  3. Or change one fabric at a time: press the swatch beside its name and choose a color. Every piece cut from that fabric follows.
  4. Read What it takes to make for the yardage of each fabric, plus backing and binding.
  5. Back to the original puts the designer’s colors back.

Good to know

  • Once you own it, the quilt opens in your library, where you can use your own fabric photos, resize it and print a fresh pattern.
