Recolor your quilt pastel, jewel, autumn and more

Suggest → Recolor shifts the solid colors already on your quilt into a scheme, like Pastel, Jewel, Vintage or Sunset, for the whole quilt or just the blocks you select.

Where to find it

Designer → right panel → Suggest (the sparkle) → Recolor.

Open the designer
In the designer, a box dragged across six Log Cabin blocks selects them; with Suggest set to Selected, Recolor turns only those six plum, then Arrange scatters the palette across them while the other 30 blocks stay as they were

How to do it

  1. Press the sparkle at the top of the right panel to open Suggest, and choose Recolor.
  2. To change only part of the quilt, select those blocks first and keep Selected. Otherwise choose Whole quilt.
  3. Pick a Scheme. The chips under it preview the colors it will use.
  4. Press the apply button, like Apply sunset. The solids change; fabric photos stay as they are.
  5. Undo puts it all back in one step.
