Find colors that go with your quilt

Suggest matching colors offers new colors to go with each color already on your quilt. Try recolors the quilt with them, and a lock keeps a color you love where it is.

Where to find it

Designer → right panel → Palette → Colors → Suggest matching colors, beside On this quilt.

Open the designer
In the designer, Suggest matching colors beside an Ohio Stars quilt’s cream, navy and rust offers matches for each; with cream locked, Try under a column recolors the navy and rust stars, Try under the next gives another pair, and New matches then Try deals a third, all on the same cream

How to do it

  1. Put some color on the quilt first. In the right panel, find On this quilt under Colors and press Suggest matching colors.
  2. Each color on the quilt gets a row of matches. Change Matches per color to see more or fewer.
  3. Press Try under a column to recolor the quilt with that column, or Try it for a random pick from each row.
  4. Lock a color, like your background, with the small lock on its swatch, and Try leaves it alone.
  5. New matches deals a fresh set. Undo takes back any try you don’t like.

Good to know
