Color & fabric

Arrange your fabrics: scrappy, ombré or light and dark

Suggest → Arrange places your colors and fabrics across the quilt for you: scattered like a scrap quilt, flowing corner to corner like an ombré, light and dark, or two-tone. Shuffle again deals another.

Where to find it

Designer → right panel → Suggest (the sparkle, Go to Suggest) → Arrange.

Open the designer
In the designer, the sparkle at the top of the right panel opens Suggest; Arrange with the Scattered style deals every square of a Trip Around the World quilt into a scrappy mix, Shuffle again deals another, and Undo twice brings the rings back

How to do it

  1. Press the sparkle at the top of the right panel to open Suggest, and choose Arrange.
  2. Pick a Style: Scattered keeps touching pieces different, Gradient flows like an ombré, Light & dark alternates them, Two-tone makes a checkerboard and Random is pure chance.
  3. Choose what to place: Both, just Fabrics or just Colors.
  4. Press Suggest. Every piece is placed again; Shuffle again deals another.
  5. Not what you wanted? Undo puts it all back in one step.

Good to know

  • Select some blocks first and choose Selected to arrange only those.
  • To arrange just a few fabrics, narrow the palette with the Shortlist first.
