Curve the edges of a shape
Select a shape in the Shape Designer and bow every edge out with Bulge or in with Scoop, set how far with Curve depth, or pick one point to make it a sharp Corner or a Smooth curve.
How to do it
- In the Shape Designer, click a shape to select it. Its points show as handles, and the Shape panel opens on the right.
- Press Bulge to bow every edge out, or Scoop to bow them in. Straight puts them back.
- Drag Curve depth to set how far the edges bow.
- To change one spot, click a point on the shape, then choose Corner, Smooth or Even, or give the edge leaving it a Circular arc. Add point and Remove point change the outline.
Good to know
- Drag a point to move it; with Snap on in the top bar it lands on the grid, and holding Alt (Option) moves it freely.
- Smooth shape rounds the whole outline into one flowing curve.
