Paper piecing
Repeat a paper pieced block across a quilt
Repeat lays copies of your panel across a quilt, the same way up, alternating or as a pinwheel, with sashing and a border if you like. Identical sections print once.
How to do it
- With your block drawn, open Repeat in the left panel.
- Type how many copies go Across and Down, and add Sashing and a Border if you want them.
- Choose a turn: Same way, Alternate (every other copy turned), or Pinwheel (each four turned round their middle, on a square panel).
- Read the quilt size under the choices, then press Repeat the panel. Undo brings the single panel back.
Good to know
- Plain sashing and border strips wear the color or fabric picked in the palette, so pick one first.
- To use the block in a patchwork quilt instead, press Save as a block under Panel and stamp it like any other block.
- Who can use it
- Free, no account needed
