Save & share

Save your quilt

Press Save to keep your quilt in your account, where it opens again on the web and on your iPhone or iPad. The first time, you can give it a name.

Where to find it

Designer → Save (top right), or press ⌘S (Ctrl+S on Windows).

Open the designer
A new Sawtooth Stars quilt with no name: Save opens Name your quilt, Share – Stars is typed and saved, and the quilt is saved under its new name in the top bar

How to do it

  1. In the designer, press Save at the top right, or press ⌘S.
  2. A quilt without a name asks for one: type it in Name your quilt and press Save, or choose Save without a name.
  3. The status beside the title turns from Unsaved changes to All changes saved. Your quilt is now in My Library → Quilts.
  4. Not signed in? Save asks you to create a free account first, and saves the quilt the moment the account exists. Your design stays on screen the whole time.

Good to know

  • A free account keeps one quilt in your account and one more on this device. When the account’s quilt is used, Save on this device keeps a second one in this browser only. A subscription keeps every quilt, on all your devices.
  • To rename a quilt, click its name at the top left of the designer and type, then save.
  • On iPhone and iPad, Save is at the top of the designer, with Save as New Copy in the same menu.
