Turn off the designer’s animations

The Animations button at the bottom of the right panel turns the designer’s small motions off or on: stitching, the rotary cutter, a copy settling in and a piece fading when it’s deleted.

Where to find it

Designer → bottom of the right panel → Visuals → Animations.

Open the designer

How to do it

  1. Find Visuals at the bottom of the right panel, under the Shortlist.
  2. Press Animations. When it’s no longer highlighted, the motions are off.
  3. Press it again to turn them back on.

Good to know

  • The choice is kept on this computer, for every quilt.
  • If your device is set to reduce motion, the designer already keeps its motions small.
