Design on the quilt

Zoom in and move around the quilt

Get close to a corner or step back to see the whole quilt: the zoom buttons sit under the design wall, Fit shows it all, and the percentage takes you to actual size.

Where to find it

Designer → under the design wall, at the right: −, Fit, the zoom percentage and +.

Open the designer
In the designer, + under the design wall zooms in on the Plus Quilt three times, holding the move-and-zoom pad's right and then down arrows travels across the quilt, the pad's + zooms closer, Fit shows the whole quilt again and + zooms back in

How to do it

  1. Press + under the design wall to zoom in, or − to zoom out. ⌘+ and ⌘− do the same.
  2. Move around with the mouse wheel or trackpad, or hold Space and drag the quilt.
  3. Press Fit (or F) to see the whole quilt in the window again.
  4. Press the percentage to see the quilt at actual size, where an inch of quilt covers an inch of screen.

Good to know

  • Rather tap than scroll? In Quilt settings (left panel) → Controls, turn on Show the move and zoom pad. Hold an arrow to keep moving.
  • Hold ⌘ and use the wheel to zoom round the spot under the pointer.
  • On iPhone and iPad, pinch to zoom and swipe with two fingers to move.
