Start a quilt

Start from a quilt someone shared

Pick a quilt other quilters have shared in the community and it opens as your own copy, fabrics and shapes included, ready to recolor and resize.

Where to find it

Design → What do you want to make? → Look through community quilts (under the ways of sewing)

Look through community quilts
In the new-quilt setup, Look through community quilts opens a shelf of quilts other quilters have shared; picking a Churn Dash opens it as your own copy on the design wall

How to do it

  1. Open Design. Under the ways of sewing on What do you want to make?, press Look through community quilts.
  2. Browse Most loved or Newest, or search by name, block or maker.
  3. Pick a quilt. A copy goes into your quilts with the fabrics and shapes it uses, and opens on the design wall.
  4. Recolor, resize or change it however you like. Only your copy changes.

Good to know

  • Not signed in? Picking a quilt opens its community page, where you can look at it closely and join to save a copy.
Who can use it
