The field is 5 by 6 blocks, each 12 by 12 inches, with no sashing, and border rings of 2.5 and 4 inches. Each block is 16 squares of 3 inches. Those squares finish at 3 inches, which is not a 2.5 inch precut strip, so this page does not treat the quilt as a strip-roll layout. The blocks use 2 orientations: 15 and 15. The field inside the borders is 60 by 72 inches. With the borders on, the quilt finishes at 73 × 85 inches. The border rings, inner to outer, are 2.5 inch #D6D2CA, then 4 inch #25282A.

The quilt stores colors rather than fabric names: #F6F3ED, #9A9892, #25282A. This page does not quote yardage. The design stores no cuts, and a yardage total without them would be a guess.

It is also a card on the graphite color story, where Graphite Shadow is the picture. A twin of this finished size can be drawn in the twin quilt designer.
